Kara is specifically looking to train the next generation of teachers and practitioners to impact our new world through the tradition of yoga and be the influence so others want to connect
Morning Sessions 9:30- 11;30 am
Our morning sessions are designed for those who have mornings free for their practice. We have practitioners in their 20’s and practitioners in their 60’s and these classes meet everyone's needs so the sky’s the limit for your goals.
These classes hold a well-rounded rigour working deeply with the body to maintain optimal health and the longevity of that bounty.
The Newbie Sessions Tuesday and Thursday 6:30- 8:30 pm
Our Newbie sessions are for those brand new to yoga, have chronic pain or are reestablishing a paused practice. The core values of yoga are established here so that we may progress with safety and confidence in ourselves and yoga. These classes introduce inversions aka Sarvangasana (shoulder stand) and Sirsasana (headstand), the practice increases in rigour with a monthly restorative class which visits pranayama.
The Advanced Practice Monday 7-9pm and Wednesday 6-8 pm
Our Progressive Sessions are for pupils who have been with the Iyengar method for a minimum of 3 years and are adept in Sirsasana and variations as well as Sarvangasana and variations. We move at an elevated pace working with the fuller range of advanced asana. We also have a monthly session of deep restoration and pranayama.
Winter/Spring 2019 semester monthly instalments of 92$
One week off in February and one week off in March, dates to be announced. Price reflects this time off.

Pilates with Marion
PRIVATE COURSE: $ 60 (postural analysis the first course, about fifteen minutes). Customized course according to the needs and requests of the person.

Small group courses:
$ 12.50 / people. Course particularly targeting the abs. Improved posture and alignment Development of muscle tone.

A key element in our roles as a sadhaka (student) of yoga is our engagement to the rigor of our practice. As your teacher, I structure our sessions and ensure a safe place for transformation. If there is a class which needs to be canceled, its my responsibility to ensure a class is created to replace it. If you are to miss a class you can join any other class during the same semester to replace it. In order to keep the structure and integrity of our sessions, missed classes can not be transfered to another semester nor subtracted from payments. Thank you for your comprehension in this matter.
